New Friend

The girls found a new friend tonight, problem was he was kinda stiff and didn't talk much

To Much Shopping

Remind me not to go on vacation with three women again. Dinner, then 3 hours of wandering the shops, and they didn't even xover a third of the area. I may develope a sudden illness after dinner tomorrow night.

Moving Day

Today was moving day. We are now right in downtown Playa del Carmen on the beach, for the next three weeks.

Here we are again, stuck by the pool for another day. I guess if I get really bored, I will have to go for a walk on the beach.

The worst part is, I can't find snow anywhere

Much Better

Well we are here, finally got to the resort about 1, the shuttle was a bit slow today.
It is a little breezy, but 70 and breezy is much better than 10 and breezy.

It's finally time

Well it's about time, with snow on the ground and the highways a mess it's time for us to south.
We are off this evening for an overnight near the airport so we don't have to get up so early.
By noon tomorrow we will be on the beach - that's warm white sand as opposed to cold wet snow

One More Week

Well, after this week it can snow all it wants, it will be fun in the sun for us for a month.

 

The first week we are at the Mayan Palace with it's 5 acre pool,

no it's not crowded , how could it be.

After that we are moving a few miles south, right into Playa del Carmen to the El Faro.

A small little boutique resort right on the beach. How much better could it get ?  FREE, I guess would be better, but we can't complain. The picture was taken from our balcony last year.

What an afternoon

Just spent 4 hours helping a friend clean out his computer and learn a new genealogy program - TIME FOR A NAP

Imports Complete

Just finished importing content from my other blogs into Posterous.

Check out Viking River Cruises and Playa de Carmen. Some of the

photos didn't make it, but I can fix that later as time permits.

Back to the grind

Ok folks, the parties are over, the headaches SHOULD be gone, now get back to work so that my social security checks keeps coming.
